and I tried to inspire

and help him
realize

peoples lives

and all he seems to notice
is when they hand him

and seems unaware they try some more to tolerate
neglect and worse yet
life-threatening situations -
water leaks endlessly (mold anyone ? )

and begrudgingly he
paid for gas to stop leaking

which did not make him
the STAR material he thinks he is
so when it became obvious
he is intoxicated by
getus
wampum
loot
and its madness
and perhaps
fundamentally lacks
faith in Universal Abundance
and some level of
common sense
I turned the steady stare his way
with not another word to say
and withheld some of his
BELOVED $$$
and bright and early the next day
he showed up to take care of some
business -
and I learned it from

but it only works

if not it is a waste of
